Max C. Sokol

Max Charles Sokol, 98, beloved husband of Edith nee Silver; loving father of Karen (the late Arthur) Hillman, Dr. Ronald (Lori) Sokol, Dr. Larry (Vicky) Sokol and Craig Sokol; devoted Papa Max to his grandchildren, Stacy (Rocco), Matthew (Jennifer), Michael (Tori), Lauren, Natalie, Skylar and Dr. Jared (Nicole); proudest Papa Max to his great grandchildren, Ethan, Tyler, Ryan and Jack; fond uncle of Helene and Lois Siegel, the late Ira Sokol, the late Anne Schiff and the late Phil (Rose) Sokol; loving son of the late Sam and Jennie Sokol; fond brother of the late Morris (the late Irene) Sokol and the late Tillie (the late Bernard) Siegel. Max was a Veteran of World War II, past president of A.G. Beth Israel Congregation for 15 years, past president of the Peterson Park B’nai Brith and a volunteer at NorthShore Skokie Hospital Emergency Room for 15 years.
